("2 Great Eyes" by Hans-Peter)I thought I was going to get a little vacation: a little time to relax and recover from two months of intense work. Instead, I got a prism placed in the midst of my light beam, and suddenly things looked more complex than they seemed. I'm sorry I haven't had much time to write these days. Thanks for sticking with me. Pretty soon I'll sort these new colors out, and remember that I'm still just a light beam.
Things have been pretty busy around here for me lately: I've just taken over as the new Maya Yoga Studio Manager, adding a new flurry of activity to my to-do lists, and leaving little time for my musings. But never fear, dear readers: the blog keeps on rolling! I just have to remember that all things will settle in due time so long as I keep Lifestyle First, right? But since I'm still getting used to the new colors in my rainbow, I'm putting a full post on hold this week. And in it's place, I'll just share somebody else's story with you!
(Adam Cole/WNYC)WNYC's Radiolab ran a delightful story on the color of perception that was a beautiful reminder of how what we see in this world all depends on how we see it. Check it out. But before you do that...
Mark your calendars kids, because I've added new classes to my schedule! My teachers have graciously granted me the opportunity to teach in their sacred space. So please come join me for some deeper work in what I consider my yoga home at Maya Yoga Studio in Huelo, starting this week!
